Exhortation

“Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth” (Proverbs 24:15-17).

From abstract billows and spiritual contortions, the flock continues to trek toward transcendence, while the devil lurks at every turn seeking to destroy and disrupt. It remains, blessed Jesus, the Almighty, and the powerful earthly presence in the form of the Holy Spirit. It is God who protects, guards, and truly Shepherds in the most prominent and pivotal of fashions. Man will not understand, woman will not always find contentment, children will not always obey, but Jehovah will always provide solace and resolution.

God is the Rose of Sharon, Lily of the Valley, shelter in storms, bridge over troubled waters, bread when hungry, spiritual blood when close to carnal death, essence when the soul is empty, substance when the spirit is bleak, and power when the psyche is weak.

Because of whom God is and what He ultimately provides, the just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. Continue to rise, persevere, pray, love, fast, worship, praise, and sing in honor of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It can never be enough to fall in defeat as echoed through the rich words and fiery preaching of Jeremiah, There is a balm in Gilead.

In regards to the words of David, “I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalms 30:1-5). You are the clay In The Potter’s Hands. God has paved a way to save you today!
